Did your life go berserk the last few days with all of the ice and snow that the Dallas area got?
Did you notice that many people became almost instantaneously less responsive, productive and motivated?
Granted, many folks were without lights and heat and had legitimate concerns but many others seem to use times like this to take a few days off from being a productive and contributing member of society. This is less of a negative rant and more of an attempt at encouragement.
Take this opportunity to be a fighter, a doer and to be the kind of person who leaps into action when things get tough or obstacles are put in your way.
Believe me, I had my frustrations with this weather as I was stuck in an airport in Orlando for two days and had to get a flight to Austin with a layover in Houston where I hopped off the plane and got a rental car just to get back to my family and to avoid missing a big Young Life event last night.
I want to be a man who takes action when others may want to find reasons to shrink.
