wide open spaces

For years I've been telling folks about the "Wylie, Sachse, Murphy" area of DFW and all of the unique benefits it offers for families and home owners.  10 years ago, folks in Dallas would say that the area was way too far away. 5 years ago, folks in Dallas would say that was just a bit too far for them to consider buying a home in Sachse or Murphy and Wylie was out of the question. Now, in 2015 we sell as many homes in the area that has been widely referred to as Wylie, Sachse, Murphy as we do in Richardson, Plano and Dallas.  It is intriguing to see how the minds of many home owners have shifted. 190 / George Bush opening up all the way to I-30 and Rowlett certainly made a difference and the growth of Richardson and the Firewheel area of Garland have made the area feel more connected.

These small towns still maintain the charm that they've always had but with more housing options for growing families. Homes on land (.5 - 5 acres mostly) are a major draw and a specialty of our team. There are very few other places in the metroplex where you can find an affordable, well built and attractive home, feeding into great schools and within half an hour of Dallas.

As several trends have families moving out of the dense urban city centers, a slower pace of life, more neighborly feel and wide open spaces are becoming more popular. We see more gardens being built, block parties being thrown and small town parade attendance is through the roof. If you, a friend, co-worker or family member is interested in getting your own little piece of small town America just within driving distance of the big city, please reach out right away at 214.216.2161. We specialize in this area as well as in homes on land in general and are happy to help.
