...I got punched in the gut.
Hey folks,
I didn't literally get punched in the gut, and nothing terrible happened, but we lost an opportunity today when everything else was going amazingly well and it was based on solely external reasons and it still stinks.
I'll simply say this in an effort to remind myself and encourage you:
This is a very minor item in the grand scheme of things and presents an opportunity to overcome a challenge. Those really are opportunities. Nobody succeeds unless they overcome challenges and solve problems. When I have an opportunity to do that, it is sorta like I mentally add a mark to the tally I'm keeping. As they accumulate, I know that I'm onto something or closer to my goal.
It'd seem preferable to never have the challenges, but then there wouldn't be any joy in the accomplishment. That's how I see it anyway.
I challenge you (AND ME) to see our challenges as opportunities this week.
Have a great one,

P.S. I deliberately used the words challenge and opportunity 147 times each in this email to drive home the point. Challenges are Opportunities! I keep re-learning that.
