I'm terrible at saying no. Are you?
I'm learning very very slowly as my family grows, my business grows, and my calendar seemingly shrinks that I may think I'm excellent at prioritizing the stewardship of my time, but I must improve constantly.
I want to make a difference in the world and I'm confident you do too. I keep thinking lately about a quote I've heard a few times, but can't recall who said it.
You can do anything you want in life, but you can't do everything.
I'm not a fan of throwing the word can't around, but I need a crystal clear picture in my head sometimes and the idea that I can't execute on every idea, attend every event, have every conversation, solve every problem, help every person, and achieve every accomplishment that I dream up is important.
I fall victim to a whole bunch of good things in my life keeping me from truly great things and I do this a lot.
Does this happen to you too?
How do you combat this in your life?
I'm inviting my closest friends, family, and teammates lately to hold me accountable to saying NO to more things. Even good things.
I'd encourage you to do the same. To make room for more greatness in your life.
I hope this didn't bum you out and instead encouraged you to experience more of the greatness of life.
Have a great afternoon,
Todd Tramonte and Team.
P.S. This fall will be a really powerful time to sell and buy a home in DFW if you have the right strategy. It will be a nightmare if you have the typical strategy of the last few years. Reply here or call our office at 214.216.2161 if we can help you or a friend with the right strategy.
