Ever since I was a child, I’ve absolutely loved the idea of independence and living your life the way you choose based on your beliefs and goals.

I can remember with extraordinary detail a conversation with my father about a family member with a fruit tree orchard and how enticing that was to him. At that moment, I knew I wanted to have something similar when I had a home.

I have always loved being out on open land. When I was in junior high, our family had a piece of land that we called a ranch in Central Texas, and I fell in love with it. I’d fish, shoot, explore, and ride four-wheelers, dirt bikes, and lawn tractors for hours and hours. We had bonfires, rode horses, watched sunsets, and I was in heaven. I grew up hunting and fishing anyway, so even before and after we had “the ranch,” I was hooked. When my parents sold that piece of land, I swore that I’d eventually live on some land and that my kids would have the privilege of open spaces as I did for a time. The night I proposed to my wife, I shared my dream of living on a few acres with space for our family to enjoy being outside. She grew up riding horses on her grandparents’ small piece of land near Huntsville, TX, so it was not a terribly difficult sale. (The home on land, not the engagement. That was the sale of a lifetime!)

We now live in a house that we completely rebuilt on a couple of acres near our office with a big garden, a couple of ponds, a well, a fruit tree orchard, a tree house, and play areas for the kids, such as a swing set, swimming pool, bocce pit, and a whole lot of joy.

This is one of many reasons our team loves to market and sell Dallas-Fort Worth homes on a few acres of land and help folks find them. We often get to participate in the achievement of similar dreams for couples and families, and it brings us great joy to do so. Many of our talented team members share similar passions for homes on land, open spaces, and outdoor family activities. For those reasons and more, we have launched a division of the Todd Tramonte Home Selling Team called the Todd Tramonte Homes on Land Team.

With this launch, we are developing even more resources for the buyers, sellers, and owners of homes with big yards and expanding our marketing reach to find them, engage with them, and build a community of folks who share this passion or goal.

If you like the sound of a little extra space, a horse, chickens, animals, or even just a lot of space to look at, please know that we would consider it a privilege to put our immense knowledge, experience and passion in this arena to work for you. Call 214.216.2161 right away, and we can start a conversation about helping you achieve your dream of a Dallas-Fort Worth area home on land.
