Regardless of whether your team won or lost this weekend and whether or not your job is ideal and your relationships are rich and your pockets are full, those are your circumstances.
As you know, circumstances change.
What does not change is that you get to make choices every day. You get to choose to be happy, sad or bitter. You get to choose to run from difficulty or run towards opportunity. You get to see failure or learning, loss or new beginning, a goal unreached or a chance to set new goals.
I saw this recently and thought "what great fortune the kids in this classroom have and they most likely don't even know it."
I hope you know what great fortune you have to live in America and to be loved by God and others.
