I won't bore you (or make your stomach sick) gushing over my wife, but she and I celebrated 11 years of marriage and 18 years of dating this weekend and it just doesn't seem possible that it has been that long. It has flown by.

We have a five year old for crying out loud.

Thinking about that this morning, I just keep coming back to the idea that time really does seem to fly. I had a little Peter Pan flashback there too, but I'll save that for another time.

People say, "time flies when you're having fun," but I seem to be realizing that time flies no matter what. In reality, it doesn't fly, it just doesn't ever slow down when we want it to.

It reminds me to be "all in" in the most important areas and to shrug off the annoying, silly, frustrating stuff. Nearly anything can be tolerated or endured for a short period of time and the great times that seem to "fly by" create lasting memories that can be revisited and retold again and again.

I hope you'll take this as a reminder to be "all in" and to be open to the full experiences of life, and to see the short-term nature of many of your frustrations and challenges.

Have a memorable week,

Todd Tramonte
