It is crazy to think that I've been helping folks buy and sell homes for over a decade already. When I think about the early days, I cringe a little bit but it feels like it was just yesterday that I bought my first investment house. It was a tiny boarded up house in East Waco with no pipes, ac or even cabinets. The kitchen was literally four walls and a few holes in the floor. I paid $7,300. Actually, I didn't pay anything. I had a buyer for it before I purchased it. I sold it for $10,900 about twelve minutes before I had to pay for it myself. Basically I earned $3,600 without having any of my own money involved. This was great since I didn't really have any of my own money at the time.
You know, when I remember that story, it actually seems like it has been fifty years since I got into the real estate business. I've learned so much and I aim to improve every day in my ability to provide an incredible value and experience for our amazing clients. The number one lesson I've learned over my career thus far is this:
Nothing is more valuable to my company, my team and to the value we offer our clients than the incredible people on our team. Fantastic people produce literally unbelievable results and experiences.
