...who told you that Spring and Summer are the best time to sell?
Here is a quick bit of truth that most real estate agents sadly don't know:
The best time to sell, or buy for that matter, is when you and your family are ready. When you are financially, emotionally and strategically ready, then and only then should you call me to get going buying or selling a home.
Now, HERE IS THE REAL ZINGER: While most agents will go along with the old "conventional wisdom" that says most folks buy and sell in Spring and Summer, on the inside they are usually thinking, "please buy now!!!" On the other hand, my decade and a half of experience, expertise and obsession with providing world class value tells me that any time you are personally ready, there is a great strategy to help you succeed. A great team of agents will craft a perfect strategy for any market with any client.
DON'T GET TRAPPED with an agent who unknowingly has a one-size-fits-all strategy that was accidentally designed to work in Spring and Summer and fail the rest of the year. That's just laziness.
