This morning as I got ready for work, both of my kids were drawing. One of them had bounced back strong after puking on me in our bed last night. Yea. Anyway, I commented to my wife on the fact that our kids each only really draw one thing.

My son draws trucks. If he has a crayon, marker or pencil, there are 1-28 pickup trucks with incredibly long truck beds on them drawn nearby. I haven't got the heart yet to tell him that the drive shaft couldn't handle that distance, but sometimes you just have to let the little people dream. My daughter draws herself as a princess and then signs her name backwards. She's young enough that this is a positive.

So, here is the thing I keep thinking about that might help you and me both. They are focused. They know what they want. Their drawings improve, they gain focus, but they still primarily only draw one thing. We should copy them. Really!

When we focus so intently on one thing, we can make huge strides quickly. What is one thing you want to achieve, learn or overcome soon that if you hyper focus on it you could accelerate the pace of progress greatly? Can I help?

Have a truly fun and purposeful week,
